Our client specializes in designing, manufacturing, and installing bespoke solutions that transcend complexities. They are currently recruiting for an Assembler. Whether it's temperature control, pollutant removal, or noise limitation, they rise to the challenge, ensuring optimal functionality.
Salary and shift:
- £11.44 per hour
- Monday – Thursday, 0800 – 1630, Fridays 0800 – 0330
Role:
Working under the day -to-day control of the Operations Supervisor, the General production assembler will assist int he day to day assembly of fabricated units to maintain the production of building programmes whilst maintaining a high level of housekeeping.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To position, align and fit manufactured/purchased parts to form complete units or sub-units
- Utilizing basic hand tools including drills, grinders, clamps, cuttings tools and rivet guns.
- To deburr all components prior to assembly
- To verify product and build dimensional conformance to engineering drawings using squares, rulers and measuring equipment
- Any other duties as reasonable requested by management
Candidate:
- Basic engineering knowledge is desirable
- Basic understanding of hand tools
- Ability to follow processes and procedure
- A good team worker
- Attention to detail
