Route 1, a leading employment business, is currently seeking dedicated and reliable 3.5t Multi Drop Drivers to join our team based in Normanton. If you're a skilled driver looking for a dynamic role with competitive pay and opportunities for growth, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Salary and Working Hours:
- 5 days over 7, including 1 weekend day. Shifts start between 9:30am and 10:30am, with a minimum of 8 hours per shift.
- £11.44 per hour
Duties:
- Delivery and collection of parcels on a multi-drop basis to local collection and return points following a planned schedule.
- Utilize hand scanning devices for efficient tracking of parcels.
- Complete 16 – 20 drops per shift.
- Some depot work required, including loading prior to your run and unloading upon return.
- Handle relatively light parcels, but expect larger volumes, especially during peak seasons such as Christmas.
Requirements:
- Valid UK driving license with experience driving 3.5t vehicles.
- Ability to handle a busy workload and meet delivery targets.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work weekends as required.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
